Moderator: I am hear with a few member’s of the DribbleJabber staff to get their favorites to win this year’s NBA Championship.
Without a doubt the team that plays basketball the right way is going to win the championship. They are all committed to defending their championship, have no hidden agendas, have tons of veteran experience, and focus on defense. The Cavaliers are trying to copy the Celtic formula by stressing defense and team unity. But no one does it better than the champs.
Moderator: You do know that KG is injured and may miss the playoffs right?
Just as I was saying before, its going to take a team that plays basketball the right way. A team that has veteran experience, has no hidden agendas, and focuses on defense. It also doesn’t hurt that they have won a championship just about every other year. Mike Brown’s major goal was to mold the Cleveland Cavaliers into the San Antonio Spurs. But no one does it better than the originator.
Moderator: Isn’t Manu Ginobilli out for the rest of the year?
Like I said twice before. It’s going to take a team that plays basketball the right way. A team that has won a championship before, has veteran leadership, and is known for hard nosed defense. The Cavs have tried to mold their frontcourt into a Piston’s of the past. They got their former big man Ben Wallace, have big men who can hit the baseline jumper, and have energetic big men off the bench.
Moderator: Isn’t the Iverson out for the rest of year also? And wasn’t that a failed experiment?
Freddy: I’m done talking to you sir.
Johnny: It’s an obvious choice that the Cavs will win the championship this year. They have the best record in the league, the best player in the league, and they have homecourt advantage. That doesn’t hurt when you have only lost two games this year at home.
Moderator: What about the fact that they haven’t beat the Laker’s at all this year?
Johnny: The regular season is overrated my friend. I am not going to trust in a team that has a losing record against the Charlotte Bobcats.
Paulie: Never underestimate the underdog my friend. This is the team that took the defending champs to 7 games last year. They have only gotten better with team. They play defense and are the most athletic team in the playoffs. They have a homecourt advantage that rivals the Cavs. This team is a sleeper just like Cleveland State.
Moderator: Don’t the Cavs own homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs? And didn’t Cleveland State lose in the sweet sixteen?
Paulie: I believe I said underdog my friend.
C.J.: How are you not going to consider the MVP candidate D. Wade. This man has everything going for him. He just dropped 55 points the other day against the Knicks? This guy is the winner of DribbleJabber’s Captain Planet award. He can take his team to the finals by himself just like AI took Philly.
Moderator: Didn’t Allen Iverson lose in the finals?
C.J.: there is always a hater…
